Copywriter and Content Marketer, London
Dropit is seeking a talented copywriter, with experience of content and digital marketing, to help us tell our unique story. Your primary role will be informing and delighting consumers, and engaging industry stakeholders, by communicating our novel and innovative services in ways that are relatable and compelling to them
Our service delivers benefits for consumers and multiple industry stakeholders (shopping mall owners, retail brands, retail workers, logistics providers), and this role requires you to build an understanding of what interests and motivates them. You will be highly curious, ready to explore topics across consumer trends and behaviours, the reinvention of the retail industry, regional and local cultural variations, and much, much more. You’ll work with colleagues to develop these insights into original content, primarily copy to support consumer and retail industry marketing campaigns.
You will be able to demonstrate a strong track record as a writer, a creative flair, and an analytical mind able to translate complex concepts into compelling original copy. You will likely have a marketing or journalistic background, and have marketing experience and/or a qualification. You will be familiar with content marketing, and digital marketing programs and techniques.
This role will suit someone who is comfortable working in a busy startup environment, enjoys communications and marketing challenges, and capable of collaborating with colleagues in different internal organisations and time zones. You will need to be organised, with an eye for accuracy and details, and be responsible in keeping content up to date. Basic graphic design skills are helpful although not essential.
