About you:

You’re an experienced eCommerce Manager who loves a challenge! You will take ownership of our two existing marketplaces, manage their day to day and lift their performance to new heights. You have the right mix of eCommerce, marketing, data, and tech knowledge, you live and breathe Shopify, and are experienced in app integrations, have hands-on marketing experience, and are tech-savvy. You are a fast learner, a team player with a can-do approach, and possess a precise eye for the finer details. You love the challenge of scaling operations and thrive on data-centric iterations.

About the role:

As an eCommerce Manager, you will be a part of the Marketing team, responsible for the day to day growth of Dropit’s two eCommerce marketplaces built on Shopify. You will onboard new brands and curate the user experience by managing and maintaining the products and collections hierarchy. You will also be responsible to plan, manage, and execute B2C marketing activity, website analytics, site optimization, and marketplace content strategy.

What you will do:

  • Own day to day operations and ensure that the eCommerce marketplaces are running smoothly.
  • Own catalog integrity. Make sure all products and collections are organized properly including hands-on tag management (creating and maintaining).
  • Liaise with sellers and maintain positive relationships and ongoing communication.
  • Collaborate with graphic designers for changes and additions to the marketplace.
  • Work closely with the Product team to onboard new merchants.
  • Work with internal and external content creators to build and implement a B2C content strategy.
  • Implement marketing calendar promotions on the marketplaces.
  • Plan and execute long & short-term projects.
  • Integrate and operate apps in the Shopify platform.
  • Update marketplace assets such as banners, discounts, pop-ups, etc...
  • Manage email marketing: lists, flows, campaigns.
  • Maintain ongoing performance reporting dashboards, track shoppers' behavior and shopping statistics with Google Analytics, Shopify Analytics, and internal BI tools.

You’ll be great for this role if you have:

  • 3+ years of experience managing eCommerce operations on Shopify - a must!
  • Previous experience working in a tech company - A must! Experience in a Startups - advantage.
  • Experience with CRM platforms
  • Experience with Google Analytics / Tag Manager
  • Data structure understanding (tags, hierarchies, categorization, etc...)
  • Knowledge of project management platforms like Monday and Jira
  • Knowledge in SEO - advantage
  • Knowledge of HTML/CSS - advantage
  • Knowledge of BI tools - advantage
  • High level of both written and spoken English - a must
  • Tech-savvy with strong problem-solving and analytical skills
